Well I havent spent 7 days on the road with such a wonderful, caring and fun group of people.
38 Mini's and one HJ Holden Police car (us)
We had it all from mother Nature, rain for much of the North island and then greeted by fine weather for the end Part of Day two taking us to Kiakoura.

Some of the worse conditions lead us into Christchurch but were still met by a small hearty croud
at the SBS staduim.
Sadly we were sadden by a head-on accident between a Father and Daughter team just out of Christchurch, and thankfully both were OK after being check out in chch hospital.
They also joinned us for the black tie function at the end of the run in Invercargill.

The rest of the trip was almost the best til last, stunning country side, weather.

The total raised for starship Childrens Hospital is currently at $140.000.
A great Job, and a well organised event, and most of us could do it all again in 2013.

For visitors outside of New Zealand, "Goodbye Pork Pie" is one of New Zealands most famous movies
