One of the latest in the Underbelly series is due on screen next week,
the series features one of NZEVC's new members HQ Holden NZ Police car.


The fourth instalment of the popular series, which will tell the tale of
Marty Johnstone, Mr Asia himself.





Predominantly based in New Zealand, the story starts when Christopher Martin Johnstone was a small-time criminal in Auckland.

It covers the multimillion-dollar cannabis importation he organised into New Zealand from Thailand on the yacht Brigadoon in 1975 and follows Johnstone's move to Singapore and the birth of the Mr Asia syndicate.

The series ends with Johnstone's murder and mutilation on the order of Clark, his business partner, in England in 1979.

Ms Wrightson said the tale was narrated by a semi-fictional detective constable and written by Kiwi expat John Banas. "He's written a really terrific script."
