Dannevirke International Police Museum Opening confirmed

The opening date has now been confirmed for SUNDAY 25th JULY at 11am.

Any members interested in being in Dannevirke for this event please contact the Group for
details, there is also a limited amount of Accomadation available at the Museum's
guest house.

NZEVC Auckland Members First Cruise

After a couple days of non-stop rain here in Auckland and second thoughts about the run to Hamilton
we were greeted on Saturday morning by a cloudless sky.

After a meet, coffee and chat at the BP Autobahn we were off to Hamilton to meet up with
Kevin who kindly brought out the stunning Holden Commodore VH MoT car.
(Kevin also happens to be a former TO).

A former police officer is breathing new life into a former Hawkes Bay brothel.

Dannevirke's historic Public Trust building, which gained notoriety during a spell as the brothel Promiscuous Girlz last year, has been sold to the Waikato ex-policeman who plans to turn it into an international police museum.

Dannevirk has an  'International Police Museum' that is due to open in early 2010. This contains police memorabilia from around the world, including several police vehicles.
