NZEVC members joined in with the fund raising for the Kids in Cars (KIC) Bathurst in the Park at Pukekohe raceway on sunday. One very well organised event and I'm sure there wouldnt be any disappointed members of the Public
Kids and parents semed to equally enjoyed the days events.
Some NZEVC members got a chance to take some kids for rides around the track, and also the chance to give there cars a work out on there own. (some non-open road speeds where reached by several members).

NEW VEHICLE REGISTRATION LAW AS OF 1ST NOVEMBER 2010

Not sure if you are aware of this but a new law is coming into effect on 1 November that allows anybody to get your name and address just by supplying your licence plate number. You can opt out from this by visiting the NZ Transport Authority website and going through a few forms. You will need your driver’s licence to proceed.
